Alberta "Bertie" Wyatt

Funeral services for 89-year-old Alberta "Bertie" Wyatt of Rector, who went to be with her Lord on Sept. 23 in the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, were Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10:30 a.m. in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Marston Carpenter and Terry Johnston officiating. Interment was in Ramers Chapel Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar E. Wyatt, on Sept. 17, 1983, a great-grandson, two brothers and seven sisters.

Mrs. Wyatt is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Linda Wyatt of Jonesboro and Terry and Glenda Wyatt of Rector; a daughter, Kathy Davis of Decatur, Ill.; a sister, Mathel Wyatt of Marmaduke; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Bud Silkwood, Mike Wyatt, Ricky McDowell, Tony McDowell, Kenneth McDowell and Keith Dowdy.

Visitation was Friday night at 6 p.m. in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector.
