Veneeda Vangilder

Veneeda Vangilder, 89, of Rector passed from this life on Oct. 4, 2009, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born May 1, 1920, to the late Steve and Cora (Pace) Yancey in Greene County, Ark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Vangilder, in 1978.

Veneeda is survived by several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with William Vangilder and Freddie Barker officiating. Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery. Visitation starts Wednesday at 10:30 a.m at the Irby Funeral Home.
