She was born Aug. 9, 1925, in the Chalk Bluff community of Clay County, and was the daughter of the late Marion and Lula (Evans) Irvin.
At the age of 14, she was baptized at the St. Francis Baptist Church. Heloise moved to Piggott in 1943 and has been a member of the First Baptist Church in Piggott ever since.
She was united in marriage to Joe F. Kelley on Sept. 28, 1951. He preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1973.
Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Harder and husband Larry of St. Louis; grandson, John Michael Harder of St. Louis, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the First Baptist Church in Piggott, with Clyde Spurgin and Kenneth Threet officiating. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery.
