Renate Sutfin

Renate Sutfin, 66, of Piggott, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1943, in Breslau, Germany, and was the daughter of the late John and Irmgard (Boehnig) Klass.

She was united in marriage to Cord Sutfin on Dec. 9, 1961, and to this union two sons were born.

Along with her husband, Cord, and her son, Matt, they established Aerial Bouquet in Piggott.

Renate loved photography, yard work, her cats and dogs, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Cord Sutfin of Piggott; two sons, Jason Sutfin and wife Susan of Cabot, Ark., and Matt Sutfin and wife Carlyne of Piggott; six grandchildren, Kristi, Lindsey, Trey, Lydia, Ethan and Josef; one great granddaughter, Isabella, and many other relatives and friends.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 2, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Roeder, Keith Crittenden, Jim Crittenden, Jim Poole, Kevin Jones and Jerry Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Royce Williams, Trey Sutfin and Josef Burns.
