Jim Waldron

Jim Waldron, a lifetime resident of Rector passed from this life on Oct. 8 at St. Bernard's Hospital.

Jim was born November 25, 1939 to the late Jay and Freda (Bradsher) Waldron in Rector, Arkansas. Jim was a Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer for the Navy and a Rural Mail Carrier.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Shirley Jefferies.

He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Linda Kay Waldron; two daughters: Kelly and her spouse, Brad Osborn, and Lindsay Waldron, all of Rector; a special granddaughter, Jillian Osborn also of Rector, along with a host of family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with Brother Marston Carpenter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Waldron asked that memorials be made to the Rector High School Helping Hands Foundation.
