She was an avid bridge player, a faithful churchgoer, and had an uncanny storytelling ability, but her most distinguishable characteristic was her love for her family.
Her family includes daughters Marilyn Morris of Camdenton, Mo., Carol Berzina of Wichita Falls, Texas, and son Hayne Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz. She also is survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Finally, she leaves behind many friends at Pueblo Norte Retirement Center, where she lived for 17 years.
Virginia will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 15, at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 East Indian School Road. Burial was Friday, Oct. 16, at Paradise Memorial Gardens, and a memorial service followed at Pueblo Norte Retirement Center.
