Myra Neely

Myra Aladine Neely, 96, of Fayetteville, Ga. went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2009 at the Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 1, 1913 on a farm near Greenway. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Arvel (Dick) Neely and infant daughter Wanda Lee.

She was a longtime resident of Greenway, and member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Aladine will be remembered for her devotion to God, friendliness and always have a kind word for everyone.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Charles Neely and wife Patricia; daughter Betty (Sue) Volk and husband Bill; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
