Linda Cook

Linda Cook, 61, of Piggott, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

She was born April 3, 1948, in Greenway, and was the daughter of the late Melvin Lonnie and Irene Jane (Ratcliff) Petty. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Eugene Petty.

She is survived by her son, Joey David Cook and wife Shelia of Piggott; daughter, Amanda Lane Cook of Piggott; grandson, Joshua David Cook of Piggott; brother, Roger Petty and wife Cindy of Bryant, Ark., and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 21, at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hubert Robinson officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements. Those wishing to post on-line condolences may do so at www.hoggardfuneralhome.com
