NAOMI RUTH BRANNAN

Naomi Ruth Brannan was born on May 9, 1931, to the late Luther Winslow

and Ruby Beatrice (Houston) Clayton, in Rector. She departed this life

on Dec. 1, 2009, in the St. Bernards Regional Medical Center at the age

of 78 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,

R.C. "Bill" Brannan in 1995; an infant son and two sons, R.C. Brannan

and Andy Brannan in 1999; a daughter, Darlene Brannan in 2007, and a

brother, Harold Clayton.

Mrs. Brannan is survived by two sons, Larry Brannan and Timmy

Brannan, both of Rector; four daughters, Marilyn Brannan, Jeanne

Brannan, Carletta Brannan and Lisa Brannan, all of Rector; two

grandsons, Andy Lynn Brannan and Nicholas Brannan, both of Marmaduke;

a brother, Mickey Clayton of Marmaduke, and two sisters, Melba Broadway of

Rector and Shirley Perry of Piggott.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. in the

Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Brother Kevin Murray

officiating. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the

Irby Chapel. Interment will be in the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
