Piggott High School will mark basketball homecoming Tuesday, Dec. 15, as the Tribe plays host to the Brookland Bearcats. This is Spirit Week at PHS, with a variety of observations and activities scheduled through Friday.

The annual royalty assembly is set for 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, in the PHS gym. The royalty also will be introduced between the junior and senior boys games Tuesday evening.

Organizers said the annual homecoming dance will be held Friday, Dec. 18, following the home basketball games against Earle.

The Mohawk basketball royalty for this year includes seventh grade maid Bailey Pollard, eighth grade maid Michelle Haley, freshman maids Bailey Reagan and Kayla Morgan, sophomore maids Emily Graddy and Kelsey Wagster, junior maids Logan Buchanan and Katy Strickland, senior maid Jana Johnson, senior maid-of-honor Kelsey Nagy and Lady Mohawk basketball beau David Blackburn.

This year's homecoming queen is Penny McCluskey, daughter of Tim and Della McCluskey. Her attendants will be Rebecca Woolery, daughter of Lisa Woolery, and Shawn Hudson Seegraves, son of Paul and Heather Seegraves.
