Juanita Gambotto, 85, of Lapeer, Mich., formerly of Piggott, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.

She was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Piggott, and was the wife of the late Louis Gambotto and the daughter of the late Amon and Marie (Holcomb) Smith.

She is survived by her three children, Diane Frey, Richard Gambotto and Michael Gambotto; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in Hoggard and Sons Chapel. Burial was in the Holcomb Cemetery. Visitation was held at 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
