Last week was Spirit Week at PHS, Monday morning this year's queen and court were introduced at the annual royalty assembly and Tuesday evening the homecoming games were set against the Harrisburg Hornets. The royalty also was to be introduced between the junior and senior boys games that evening.
This year's seventh grade maid is Bailey Pollard, daughter of Jeff Pollard and Lora Pollard. Her escort was Collin Benbrook. Serving as eighth grade maid this year is Michelle Haley, daughter of Melissa and Mike Haley, and her escort was Jim Copelin.
Freshman maids included Bailey Reagan, daughter of Brad and Shelly Reagan and Kayla Morgan, daughter of Neil and Pam Morgan. Bailey was escorted by Lucas Brewer, while Logan Murray served as escort for Kayla.
Emily Graddy, daughter of Guy Graddy and Carla Wagster, was the sophomore maid this year. Emily was escorted by Tanner Murray.
Junior maids included Logan Buchanan, daughter of Lori and Thomas Buchanan. She was escorted by Mohawk Alek Samples. The other junior maid was Katy Strickland, daughter of Shawn and Lori Parker, and her escort was Jon Perkins.
Senior maid was Jana Johnson, daughter of Linn and Yvonne Beaver and Bobby Johnson. Her escorts were Nathan Stricklin and Connor Rodery. Senior maid of honor was Kelsey Nagy, daughter of Brian and Teresa Nagy. She was escorted by Zac Redmon and Spencer Coomer.
Serving as the 2009-10 Lady Mohawk basketball beau this year is David Blackburn, son of Robyn Nagy and Brent Blackburn. He was escorted by Lady Mohawks Taylor Coomer and Sheleen Johnson.
This year's Mohawk basketball homecoming queen is Penny McCluskey, daughter of Tim and Della McCluskey. She was escorted by Mohawks Trent Edwards and Hayden McMillon. Her attendants were Rebecca Woolery, daughter of Tom and Lisa Woolery, and Shawn Hudson Seegraves, son of Paul and Heather Seegraves.
