The athletes made the trip to the Capital City Wednesday, Dec. 9, with three teams competing.
The 16-to-21 male team consisted of John Hedrick, Cody Whitten and Aaron DeSherlia and they brought home the silver medal.
The group also included the 12-to-15-year-old doubles team which included members Addison Book and Erich Smith. They also brought home the silver medal for second place honors.
Meanwhile, the 16-to-21-year-old female team of Sara Meadows, Shellie Sweaney, Taylor McGuire and Amanda Pollard brought home the bronze medal in their division.
The team offered thanks to the Piggott School District staff and students for always being supportive of the Special Olympics activities and the students that take part.
The next event for the high school team will be a floor hockey competition. The Special Olympics Winter Games for Arkansas will be held Feb. 4-6 at Springdale.
