The Lady Mohawks dropped their set at Manila last Thursday night, with the seniors losing 36-49 and the junior girls falling 18-43 to the Lions.

Friday night the Mohawks fell in both their games to the Earle Bulldogs at PHS, with the seniors losing 50-81 and the junior boys were edged 44-57.

Last Friday afternoon both the junior and senior Lady Mohawks were in action at the Christmas Classic at Brookland. In their first round games the junior girls fell to Marmaduke while the seniors lost to Brookland by 12.

In the second round of the round-robin tournament Saturday the senior girls dropped their game with Gosnell 43-65 while the junior girls lost their game against Barton 22-33.

Monday afternoon both girl's teams rebounded and notched victories in the consolation bracket. The senior girls downed Barton 57-52, while the junior girls squeezed by Trumann 29-27.

The boy's senior team will take part in the Kell Classic, which begins Jan. 2 and the junior boys will remain idle until Jan. 5 when both teams will host Hoxie.

The girls will return to action as both the junior and senior teams visit Rivercrest Jan. 4.
