Charles Woodrow Jackson

Charles Woodrow Jackson of Paragould died December 18,2009. Born October 28, 1928, in Marmaduke, he was a retired diesel mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by Debra Reed, of the home; five sons, Gary Jackson of Holland, Michigan, Roy Jackson of St. Joe, Louisiana, Charles Dean Jackson of Pullman, Michigan, Curtis Lee Reed of Sedgewick and William Jackson of Paragould; five daughters, Loretta Cook of Geneva, Florida, Kathy Jackson of Paragould, Gloria Jackson of Gainesville and Mary Beth House and Jacklyn Stahl, both of Paragould; one sister, Louise Gunn of Rector, and by 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nancy Jackson; his wife, Ruby J. Jackson; four brothers, Lester Wayne Jackson, Doyn Jackson, Denward Jackson and Van Jackson, and by one sister, Genevieve Page.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rector General Baptist Church with Revs. Marion Gramling and Boyd Wicker officiating. Visitation was Monday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector.

Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
