She was born in Marmaduke Dec. 5, 1918, to the late Lebron Franklin and Lillian Frances (Thompson) Keller.
She was married to Albert Ambrose Howard May 18, 1940, in Kennett. He preceded her in death, March 24, 1996.
Emma was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Howard and wife Susan and William Howard and wife Louise all of Piggott; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Willis, James Neal and John Sylvester Howard; four sisters, Lillie Mae (Keller) Worley, Elizabeth Frances Keller, Ada Mae Keller and Connie Bell (Keller) Easterwood, along with a great-grandson, Shane Guffey.
Visitation was held beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel Chapel in Piggott. Services immediately followed the visitation with Bro. Bill Newman officiating. Burial was in the Hartsoe Cemetery near Marmaduke.
Active pallbearers were Ronald Johnson, Larry Johnson, Tony Johnson, Randy Johnson, Aaron Aarlie and Michael Aarlie.
