ALEEN MILLS

Funeral services for Aleen Mills, aged 94, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, who went to be with her Lord on January 8, 2010, at her residence in Paragould, were Monday, January 11, 2010, in the Rector First General Baptist Church with Brother Mark Book and Brother Marston Carpenter officiating.

Interment was in the Mary's Chapel Cemetery near Rector.

Mrs. Mills was born April 18, 1915, in Ina, Illinois, to the late Oscar and Carrie Rhynes.

Mrs. Mills was a member of the Rector First General Baptist Church, a homemaker, a wonderful and loving wife, mother,

sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Mills; a son, Marlon Mills; brothers, Arthur Rhynes, Linoal Rhynes, Everett Rhynes and Roy Rhynes, and sisters Velma Purdom and Dovie Brewer.

Survivors are her children, Barbara and Carl Johnson of Paragould, Brenda Lankford of Paragould, Linuel and Jennifer Mills of Paragould, Carolyn Wagster of Paragould, Gary and Charlotte Mills of Salisbury, Maryland, Rhonda and Jimmy Lucius of Rector and Perry and Deana Mills of Rector; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Vernon Rhynes of Paragould, and four sisters, Orpha Brewer and Eletta Simpson, both of Rector, Nell Goode of Paragould and Eva Ricker of Montana.

Visitation began at 6 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010, in the

Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector.
