Edith Mohler

Edith M. Mohler, 91, of Piggott, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, at Rector Nursing Home in Rector.

She was born January 3, 1919, in Hickory, Ky., and was the daughter of the late Berthel and Annie (Harper) Murphey.

She was united in marriage to Glenn H. Mohler on Oct. 25, 1941.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Piggott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Mohler and wife Ethel (Dover) of Paragould, and Wayne Mohler and wife Yvonne (Matson) of Warren, Mich.; two granddaughters, Amanda Williams of Valencia, Calif., and Sarah Mohler of Warren, Mich.; two grandsons, Greg Mohler of Paragould and Phillip Mohler of Warren, Mich., along with two great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Audrey Williams, both of Valencia, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, Feb. 4, at Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bro. Rob Welborn officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Mich. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, prior to the funeral service. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.
