Terry Cato

He was born May 8, 1951, in Piggott and was the son of the late Berylus Leon and Melcenia Cordelia (Lozier) Cato.

He was united in marriage to Linda Long on August 26, 1977.

Terry was a member of the Living Word Tabernacle in Gibson, Mo.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Cato of St. Francis; son, Derek Cato and Nikki of Piggott; daughter, Terri Cordelia Priest and Jeremy of Shirley, Ind.; one grandson, Gabriel Michael Priest; one sister, Jean Cato Belote of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers, James L. Cato of Hazelwood, Mo., and Jerry L. Cato of Overland, Mo., and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bill Ivy officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Cato II, Jason Cato, Todd Ridder, Brandon Elliott, Kevin Baker and Andrew Baker. Burial will be in the Mars Hill Cemetery in Crockett. Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday and will continue until the time of the services. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.
