Diana Lynn Moore DeStefano

Diana Lynn (Moore) DeStefano was born in Piggott Dec. 30, 1953, and departed this life Feb. 13, 2010, at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla., at the age of 56 years.

Diana graduated from Piggott High School in 1971 and went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from ASU in 1975. She spent much of her life serving in the field of social work and assisting the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hudson Linuel Moore; a brother, Bruce Moore, along with grandparents Hudson and Bernice Moore and Malcolm and Veda Finley.

Diana is survived by her husband, Guy DeStephano and son Jason Little of Pensacola, Fla.; daughter Jennifer Floyd, her husband Josh and granddaughter Aubry of Decaturville, Tenn.; granddaughter Avery Little of Paragould; her mother, Mary Byrd and husband Jack; one brother, Glen Moore, his wife Sherry and nephew Logan; one sister, Janet Watson; niece Lauren Welch and husband Justin; step-sister Jackie Weaver and family, all of Piggott; step-brother Jay Byrd and family of Pensacola, Fla., as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, in the fellowship hall of Hitt's Chapel General Baptist Church north of Piggott.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, Fla., 32504.
