Harold Cook, 82, of Piggott passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Dyer, Tenn., and was the son of the late Delbert and Thelma Rose Cook. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Marcine Cook.

Harold was a foreman for Brown Shoe Company of Piggott for many years and served as the dog catcher for the City of Piggott.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Cook of Piggott; three children, Gary Cook of Fla., Charlotte Bradshaw of Tenn., and Bradley Cook of Piggott; two step-children, Ricky and Barbara Woods of Corning and Karen and Raymond Harmon of Evening Shade, Ark.; ten grandchildren, Kaila, Gavin, Alex, Chase, Bralee, Chad, Kasey, Rome, Ricky and Mitchell; four great-grandchildren, Lexie, Weston, Brooklyn and Kohnner, along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, in Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Pallbearers were Jerry Catt, Chad Scheffler, Rome Harmon, Randall Trammell, Travis Dickerson and Caleb Catt. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
