Arkansas, to Cecil Bradford and Elleta Connie (Rhynes) Simpson. She went to be with her heavenly Father on February 17, 2010, at her residence in Hardy at the age of 58 years.
Teressa graduated from Rector High School in 1969 and married the love of her life, James Doyle Nelson, on December 25, 1969. She graduated from Cosmetology School in 1973 and worked as a hairdresser in Paragould for two years. She worked for the Kroger Company for 24 and then retired to run her business -- Grandma Hardy's Craft Mall in Hardy for seven years.
She is survived by her husband, James Doyle Nelson of the home in
Hardy; a son, Kris Alan Nelson of Paragould; a daughter and son-in-law, Krystal Annette and Bryan Hooten of Paragould; her parents, Cecil and Elleta (Rhynes) Simpson of Rector; three wonderful grandchildren, Mika Shepperd, Max Hooten and Sam Hooten; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Terry Simpson of Rector, and a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Allen Newell of Marmaduke. A host of
other relatives and friends also mourn her passing.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Brother George Bearden officiating. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery near Boydsville.
Visitation was Thursday, February 18, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector.
