Pansy H. (Webster-Hogard) Godsey
Pansy H. (Webster-Hogard) Godsey, 95, of Hazel Park, Mich., died April 7, 2010.
She was born in Piggott, the daughter of John Milton and Maggie Clementine (Gallimore) Webster, May 11, 1914. She married Oather Hogard in 1931 and he died April of 1964. She married William Oliver Godsey in 1969 and he died Jan. 21, 1977.
She was employed at General Motors Tech Center and retired in June 1977. She was a long-time member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Hazel Park, Mich. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting afghans, bowling with the GM girls and serving on the election board.
She was the loving mother of Jan (the late Thomas) McCullough, Betty (William) Stebbins and the late Donald (Barbara) Hogard; dear grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 19, great-great grandmother of six and step great-grandmother of nine; dear sister of Louis Webster.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic in Warren, Mich. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 15, and 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 16. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or McLaren Hospice.
