Brandon's first pitch

Friday, June 11 was a big day for Brandon and Billy Joe Seal of Piggott as they visited AutoZone Park in Memphis. On their way in to the game they were approached and asked if they'd like to participate in the ceremonial first pitch. Billy Joe was actually picked for the honor, but deferred to his son Brandon, 7, who did a great job. Brandon delivered a great pitch to Redbird pitcher Ryan Kulik at home plate, and got the ball autographed as a souvenir. For Billy Joe the game was even more special as the Iowa Cubs beat the Redbirds in the Pacific Coast League AAA contest. (photos provided)
