During the clinic the kids enjoyed several games and competitions, and on the final day took part in a tournament based on their age.
Girl's contest winners included--Avery Webb for the homerun derby, Kirsten Smith for the volley competition, Brooke Roberts for forehand, Kirsten Smith for backhand and Abby Dutka for serving. First place in all-around competition went to Smith, while Dutka was second and Roberts was third.
Boy's contest winners included--Wyatt Crabtree for the homerun derby, Tyson Peters and Shawn-Hudson Seegraves for volley and Seegraves took top honors in forehand, backhand and serving. He also took top all-around honors followed by Pearson Hearn and Wyatt Crabtree in second and third.
Seegraves and Hearn also met in the championship match in the kindergarten and first grade age group in the week-ending tournament, with Shawn-Hudson taking the match 7 to 1 over Pearson.
In the tournament for second and third graders it was Abby Dutka taking the win over Kirsten Smith by a final of 7 to 3.
Coach Seegraves offered his thanks to Heather Seegraves, Emilee Seegraves, Coach Shawn Hearn and Alex Scheffler for their assistance in putting on the clinic.
