Donald Dillard Brown, 61, of Boydsville passed away at his home on June 19, 2010.
He was born Oct. 3, 1948, to the late Cleveland and Gorgeanne (Morgan) Brown at Delaplaine, Ark. He was married Jan. 29, 1988, to Burla Sue (Burke) Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth
Morgan Brown, and a great-grandchild.
Donald is survived by his wife, Burla Brown; four sons, Donald Brown
of Herrin, Ill., Kevin Brown of West Frankfort, Ill., Bobby Brown of Marble Hill, Mo., and Cleveland Brown; two daughters, Angela Petersen of Benton, Ill., and Loretta Dodson of Hobbs, N.M.; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Brown of Marble Hill, Mo., and Ronnie Brown of Dexter, Mo.; two sisters, Joyce Greene and Brenda Brown, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at the Irby
Funeral Home in Rector with Steve Oliver officiating. Visitation began at 11 a.m. and lasted until the funeral began. Interment was at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
