Mary Ruth (Brittingham) Drope

Mary Ruth (Brittingham) Drope passed away Aug. 25, 2010, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born May 25, 1926, to Cora and Ralph Brittingham in Rector.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband, Bill, along with two brothers, R.C. Brittingham and Laudus Brittingham.

She married Bill Drope on March 10, 1945. To this union a daughter, Linda Sue, was born.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Butticci; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of Phoenix; two sisters, Wilma Huffstutler of Savannah, Tenn., and Wanda Louise McFarlin and husband Edward of Piggott, and a twin brother, Ray Brittingham of Granada Hills, Calif.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 28, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix.
