Ruby Fair, 85, of Piggott, Ark., passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Mo.

She was born on May 7, 1926, in Madrid, Neb., and was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Mae Lindley Meade.

She was united in marriage to Calvin "Cotton" Fair and to this union four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin "Cotton" Fair; four brothers, Lennis, Omer, Ivan and Dewayne Meade, and a sister, Dovie Crittenden.

Survivors include four children, Larry Fair and wife Mary Ellen of Lanexa, Va., Lemuel Fair and wife Susan of Piggott, Ark., Tim Fair and wife Sharon of Piggott, Ark., and Cathy Hallmark and husband Don of Jonesboro, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Crystal, Dawn, Penny, Derek, Timothy, Skyler, April and Cathy Jo; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Meade of Piggott, Ark., and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Randy Dalton officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until service time.
