Lloyd "Doc" Franklin Dickens, 59, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Mr. Dickens was born Feb. 7, 1952, in Campbell to the late James D. and Lorene Haynes Dickens.

He worked at Federal Mogul as a machine operator for 30 years and was a member of the Beechwell General Baptist Church in Campbell.

On Aug. 6, 1989, in Campbell, he married Myrtle Workman. She preceded him in death on Jan. 12, 2008.

His survivors include one sister, Mary Melton and husband, Bill of Piggott; step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews, and loving friend with whom he lived, Ellen L. Grossmeyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Emma Jean Dickens; two brothers, Charles J. "Cowboy" Dickens and Earl Leo "Snake" Dickens, and nephew, Charles Adams "Chuckie" Dickens.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Rev. Bruce Vinson officiating. Burial followed at Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
