Emma Mae Wright Morris, 77, of Paragould, has gone to be with her Lord. She departed on Wednesday night, Jan. 4, 2012, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.

Emma Mae was born Aug. 11, 1934, in Marmaduke, to Ira and Lucille Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Bolen, and a son, Randy Lee Morris. Emma Mae was a homemaker and a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.

She leaves a loving legacy in her family. She is survived by the love of her life for the last 61 years, her husband, Aaron Morris of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne (Holcomb) Dickens and David Dickens, Linda and Rick Dickinson, and Pam and Dean Lackey, all of Paragould. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa and Billy Martin of Forrest City, T.J. and Laura Holcomb of Jonesboro, Misty and Shannon May, Chris and Stacey Dickinson, Quincy and Lindsay Roberts, Aaron Lee and Melissa Morris, and Levi Lackey, all of Paragould, and Caci Lackey of Morris, Okla.

Survivors also include nine great-grandchildren, Lauren, Alex and Chandler Martin, London May, Reed and Ross Dickinson, Randy Morris, Harrison Holcomb, Amber Butler, yet-to-be-born another great-granddaughter, Ella Elizabeth Roberts, and one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Betty Wright of Detroit, Mich.

Friends visited from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould.

Funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Royce Boling and Tim Wooldridge officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery, Rector.
