Gene Rudolph White, 84, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Rector, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at the Christian N.E. Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born on Nov. 3, 1927, in Hayti, Mo. He was a retired security officer, World War II veteran, in the Army Corps and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Berniece White of Harrisburg, Ark.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth White and Richard and Valorie White, both of St. Louis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Meyer of Woodstock, Ga., Doris and Tom Powell of St. Peters, Mo., Theresa and son-in-law Brad Gremminger of Fenton, Mo; a brother and his wife, Glenn and Wilma White of Lafe; five grandchildren, Angela Meyer-Easley, Shannon and Jenifer Lawandowski, Brandan and wife Sarah Gremminger, and Tyler Gremminger.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, until time for service.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Jerry Kausler officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
