Boyd Edwin Ford
Boyd Edwin Ford, 84, of Jonesboro, died April 1, 2012, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born June 18, 1927, in Harrisburg, he was a retired salesman for Leech Adhesives, an Army veteran of World War II and Korea, and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Oleda Ford of the home; one stepson, Jesse Stafford of Jonesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lauri and Dennis Adams of Hot Springs and Marty and Woody Parks of Southaven, Miss.; two brothers, Bob Ford of Wynne and Clyde Ford of Harrisburg; one sister, Mary Hunter of Wynne; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Willie Irene Ford; stepson, Jimmy Stafford, and one sister, Margaret Smith.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel of Rector with Terry Joe Kee and Bill Willard officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers were Jess Stafford, Jarrett Stafford, John Stafford, Josh Adams, Hank Parks, Nick Parks, Zack Parks and Woody Parks.
