Henry Murlyn Hemingway
Henry Murlyn Hemingway, 73, of Marmaduke passed from this life on Tuesday April 3, 2012, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
He was born March 8, 1939, to the late Henry Sr. and Muryl (Bishop) Hemingway in Otter Lake, Mich. Henry was a member of the VFW, American Legion, was of the Episcopalian faith and served our country in the Army for 42 years.
Henry was also a distant relative to Ernest Hemingway.
Mr. Hemingway was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Muryl Hemingway; one brother, Max Hemingway, and one sister, Maxine Scott.
Henry is survived by his wife, Audline (Clark) Hemingway of the home; 12 children, 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday April 5, 2012, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home of Marmaduke. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Irby Funeral Home chapel with Brothers Kim Bridges and Glen Loga officiating. Interment followed the service at the Ramer's Chapel Cemetery west of Marmaduke.
