Derin Bolen, 34, of Corning, Ark., died Monday, May 14, 2012, in Corning.
He was born Feb. 14, 1978, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was general manager of R&W Flying Service and was of the Christian faith.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best friend and son, Cole, camping at Spring River and trout fishing with his family, frog gigging with his family, practicing ball and spending his spare time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Erin Bolen of the home; three children, Reagen, Cole and Whitley Bolen; his parents, Rob and Cindy Bolen of Reyno; a brother, Clay (Ashley) Bolen of Paragould; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Crystal and Teddy Mac Briney of Corning; a brother-in-law, Ted (Renae) Briney of Corning; nieces and nephews, Olivia, Jayke, Ryley and Katie Jo Bolen, and Gage, Cade, Cyle and Colby Briney, and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Letha and Charles Read and Slick and Claudine Bolen.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Ermert Funeral Home with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery.
