Charles E. Teachenor, 80, of Fagus, was called home as he rested quietly with his daughter and family June 25, 2012. He was born in Pollard, Ark., January 13, 1932.

Charles retired from Boatman's Bank after 35 years of commercial loan service. He then returned to Fagus to care for his parents, and later his wife. He lovingly served the Lord and the community for many years, always available to help anyone who needed it.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Grace Maxine (Brummett) Teachenor, his father, Charles L. Teachenor, his mother, Alberta (Hammond) Teachenor, a sister, Evelyn Maria Teachenor, a brother, Duane Teachenor along with a brother and sister-in-law, Gail and Colleen Osborn.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephenia Anne (Teachenor) Crowder and her husband Terry; a brother, James Teachenor and wife Sheryl; a sister, Barbara (Teachenor) Baxter and husband Fred "Bud" Baxter; grandsons, Zachary and Matthew Crowder and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Luella Hale.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at the Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Road, Overland, Mo., 63114. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
