Gerline Brummet

Gerline (Weber) Brummet, 90 of Adamsville, Tenn. formerly of Rector passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at Adamsville Healthcare in Adamsville, Tenn. Ms. Brummet was born on Sept. 9, 1921 to the late John and Stella (Cribbs) Weber in Rector. Married to Leonard Brummet on Oct. 12, 1940 in Kennett, MO and was a member of the Cappadocia General Baptist Church.

Gerline was preceded in death by her parents: John and Stella Weber; loving husband Leonard Brummet, two sons: Stanley Brummet and Bobby Lyn Brummet and one brother: R.C. Weber.

Surviving Gerline are two sons, Billy and Linda Brummett, Sammy and Millie Brummet all of Tennessee; one daughter, Teresa Melching of Fla.; one sister, Martha Jane Rodgers of Marmaduke; six grandchildren, Kevin Brummett, Kimberly Martin, Samantha Jefferson, Sonya Pollard, Leslie Weems, and Lee Harmon; ten great- grandchildren, Gary and Zachary Brummett, John and Jacob Martin, Kati Lipscomb, Jackson and Hannah Pollard, Conner, Carson and Kaylin Weems; two great-great-grandchildren, Haley and Aiden Martin; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke. A celebration of her life was also held following visitation at the Marmaduke chapel with Bro. Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial followed the service at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
