Rose Hyde, office manager of Campbell Medical Clinic, will officially retire on Dec. 31. She has served the citizens of Campbell and surrounding areas, and the patients of the clinic, as office manager for 30 years.

Her co-workers noted that during her years on the job Hyde has exhibited the rare talent of being friendly and helpful to all, and added that people have already commented that they will miss her when she leaves the clinic.

A spokesman for the clinic added, "she has always done her best to make sure sick people are seen and doctors stay busy."

In announcing her retirement, Hyde offered her thanks to James Magee, Piggott Community Hospital executive director, Dr. H.R. Duckworth, Dr. Jerry Muse and Dr. James Sheridan. She added that she has many fond memories of her days at the clinic, and will miss everyone.

Hyde, in looking forward to her well-deserved retirement, noted she plans to continue her needlework and read. She also added that she plans to travel when she, and her husband Darrell, get ready to visit grandchildren or see some new sights.
