Wright Named to Volleyball All Star Game

Lady Mohawk senior standout Mallory Wright, daughter of Gary and Sherry Wright, has been chosen to take part in the Arkansas Coach's Association All Star Volleyball game. The contest will be played at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 in the Farris Center on the campus of UCA in Conway.

Mallory was also chosen as an All-State performer this past season, the second year in a row that she was afforded that honor.

This also marks the second year that a Wright sibling has taken part in the game, as older sister Breanna was chosen for the honor last year as a senior for the Mohawks.

Also making the trip to Conway will be Lady Mohawk head coach Melissa Williams, who has been chosen to serve as an assistant on the East Squad. Serving as head coach for the East Squad is Vickie Gatewood of Nettleton.

Joining Mallory on the East team will be--Lexi Beliew of Nettleton, Keely Caldwell of Valley View, Emily Giboney of Harding Academy, Peyton Hamilton of Forth Smith Soutside, Shannon Hocker of Russellville, Myeekadra Johnson of North Little Rock, Madison Laubach of Greene County Tech, Abby Mann of Conway, Abby Mollenhouse of Mt. Home, Markie Schnaedig of Little Rock Christian, Jayme Shell of Batesville and Logan Tolbert of Central Arkansas Christian.
