David Trout, 80, of Piggott, Ark., passed away, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at his home.
He was born on December 11, 1932, in Piggott, Ark., and was the son of the late Ralph and Rosa (Tanner) Trout.
He was united in marriage to Norma Armes on June 20, 1994.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Howard Trout and his stepson, Timothy Sullivan.
David was a member of the Fagus General Baptist Church in Fagus, Mo.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; two sons, Steven Trout and wife Mary of Lorraine, Tex. and Keith Trout and wife Mindy of Waco, Tex.; three stepchildren, Shelia Sullivan of Kennesaw, Ga., Roxanna Gentry and husband Bill of Pollard, Ark. and John Sullivan and wife Linda of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Trout and wife Julia of Paragould, Ark.; sisters, Janice Chandler and husband Jim of Pollard, Ark. and Lavern Nicholas of Michigan and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel in Piggott with Larry Ward officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., was in charge of the arrangements. Visitation was held Saturday evening at the funeral home.
