Paul Edward Ridgeway
Paul Edward Ridgeway, 102 years and 16 days old, of Piggott, Ark., passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
He was born on March 2, 1911, in Cooter, Mo., and was the son of the late George and Hester (Pollard) Ridgeway.
He was united in marriage to Mary Mae Gossett on Oct. 13, 1929. She preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 1990. He was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Frank, Raymond, Earl and Earnest Ridgeway; three sisters, Dona Winton, Lorene Settlemoir and Gertie Harmon.
On Feb. 5, 1992, he was united in marriage to Mary (Glodean) Ridgeway.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ridgeway; two children, Norma Harmon and husband Lonnie of Piggott, Ark. and Terry Ridgeway and wife Lynda of Hazel Park, Mich.; two stepchildren, Shirley Champion of Madison Heights, Mich. and Fred Ridgeway of Piggott, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Danny Self, Fred Barker and Jon Settlemoir officiating. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Ark., will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
