Wanda Sue Marriott Nations Rippy, 68 of Marmaduke entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 24, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She died from heart failure due to complications from emphysema and COPD. She was born August 26, 1944 to the late Leamon and Georgiann Marriott of Ravenden Springs, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Rippy, a brother: James Marriott, a sister: Helen Dunn and a brother-law: Lester Brown.

She has left behind three daughters and two son-in-laws to tell her stories and share their memories of her: Angela (Clark) McDaniel of Jonesboro, Gayla Rippy (Michael) of Paragould and Pamela Nations of Marmaduke and one son: Keith

Nations of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother: Bobby and Barbara Marriott of Jonesboro; three sisters: Alta DeLoach of Pocahontas, Verda Brown of Imboden and Daphine (Robert) Hill of Russellville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Kortney McDonald, Keridon McDonald, Jonathan Presson, Jeffrey Presson, all of Paragould, and Ariel Nations of Marmaduke; three great-grandchildren, Landen Patterson, Logan Patterson and Sophia McDonald, all of Paragould.

This is not a time for sadness but a time for rejoicing for now she can take a deep breath and let the heavenly air fill her lungs and experience the pleasure of exhaling, which many of us take for granted. She is now with her God whom she talked about with love and respect. We should feel comfort in knowing that her loved ones who preceded her have taken her by the hand during her transition from this world to an eternity of no pain, no worries and everlasting happiness. May you enjoy the ultimate journey, Wanda Sue, although we will miss you dearly. We will keep your memory and your stories in our hearts and look forward to sharing them with you again when we too are worthy of the ultimate journey into eternity.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke.
