Wilma Jinks, 100, of Piggott died March 22, 2013, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Ark.
She was born December 7, 1912, on a farm two miles north of Piggott, the daughter of the late Nora (Smith) Lehman and Vernon Elwood Lehmen.
She married Harold Jinks on Dec. 17, 1935. Harold preceded her in death on Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996. She had two brothers, Samuel Lehman and Clifford Lehman, as well as a sister, Mary Whitaker, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a nephew, Ron Whitaker and niece Marilyn Lanpher; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, in the First Presbyterian Church in Piggott with Rev. Angela Moore officiating. Visitation began at noon on Sunday and continued until service time. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Ark., with Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were James Harlan, Michael Harlan, Bradley Dunlap, John Harlan, Steve Whitaker and Jordan Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Piggott, Ark.
