Piggott Heritage Park Car Show and Cruise is Set
Plans continue for the 15th annual Piggott Heritage Park Car Show and Cruise, set for May 17, 18 and 19. The show will be held at Heritage Park in Piggott, and will include the annual cruise to the downtown square Saturday evening for live music and activities under the lights.
The schedule of events is slated to get underway the evening of Friday, May 17 with a chicken wing dinner for participants, and karaoke in the amphitheatre at Heritage Park.
Saturday morning, May 18, the Piggott Lions Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast at the community center in conjunction with the show. The cost is $5 per person, for all you care to eat.
Check-in will get underway early that morning at the park, with judging set for mid-day. Participants will also be treated to a pork steak dinner late Saturday afternoon, prior to the cruise.
Sunday morning the show will wrap-up with the awards ceremony, as a prize of $500 will be handed-out to the winner of "Best of Show" and $250 prizes will be awarded to the "People's Choice" and "Ladies Choice" winners. The prize and trophy presentation will be held at the park.
Early entries are still being accepted, and entries may also be registered the day of the show at the park. The entry fee is $30 for those registered by May 1, and $40 for all those registering after that date and the day of the show.
