This 1961 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 "Bubble Top" took home top honors in the Hot Rod division at the 2012 Piggott Heritage Park Car Show and Cruise. The car was entered by Jim Anastosopolos of Carthage, Mo.

The schedule is set for the 15th annual Piggott Heritage Park Car Show and Cruise, set for May 17, 18 and 19. The show will be held at Heritage Park in Piggott, and will include the annual cruise to the downtown square Saturday evening for live music and activities under the lights.

Participants, and vendors, are still being sought for the annual show--which regularly attracts hundreds of entrants and thousands of spectators.

The schedule of events gets underway the evening of Friday, May 17 with a chicken wing dinner for participants, and karaoke in the amphitheatre at Heritage Park.

Saturday morning, May 18, the Piggott Lions Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast at the community center in conjunction with the show. The cost is $5 per person, for all you care to eat.

Check-in will get underway Friday afternoon and continue Saturday morning at the park, with judging set for mid-day. Participants will also be treated to a pork steak dinner late Saturday afternoon, prior to the cruise.

Following the cruise, show participants will gather around the square for an evening of live music featuring "Patrick Patterson and The Band."

Sunday morning the show will wrap-up with the awards ceremony, as a prize of $500 will be handed-out to the winner of "Best of Show" and $250 prizes will be awarded to the "People's Choice" and "Ladies Choice" winners. The prize and trophy presentation will be held at Heritage Park.

Early entries are still being accepted, or vehicles may be entered at the gate the day of the show. The entry fee is $40 per vehicle.

Vendor space is also still available, at a rate of $40 for those offering goods and services and $60 for vendors selling food or drink items.
