Eloise Beaton, 83, of Paragould, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Greene Acres Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 25, 1930, in Greene County, she was a homemaker and retired factory worker. Mrs. Beaton was a devout member of White Oak General Baptist Church and loved all of her grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Gary Saffell, and one daughter-in- law, Cordettia Beaton, all of Paragould; one brother, Curtiss Wheat of Marmaduke and two sisters, Shirley Miskle of Coulterville, Ill. and Dortha Clayton of Rector. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Beaton; her parents, Everett and Olive Wheat; one son, James R. Beaton; five brothers and one granddaughter, Tonya Wright.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel of Paragould with David Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery, Marmaduke.
Joey Wright, John Thacker, Sherrie Thomason, Earl Parrish, Neal Stallings, Kevin Webb, Darin Wright, Gary Saffell and Verlin Covert will serve as pallbearers.
