Ruby Harney, age 90 of Rector, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at the Rector Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born April 30, 1923 at Walnut Ridge to the late Hezekiah and Vina Gossett Harney. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Danville. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, listening to and playing music. Most of all she enjoyed life and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Nova McGlothlin, Darrell McGlothlin; one daughter, Emily Bradshaw; three sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Norma Vandiver of Rector, Ruby Montognese of Russellville, Connie Tilmon and husband Billy of Dardanelle and Pamela Payne of Plainview; one son, Thomas England of Farmington; 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Danville with Mike Black officiating. Burial will be in Booher Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church prior to the funeral services.
Pallbearers were James Manley, Seth Masters, Ray Vandiver, Ben Brown, Robert Tilmon and William McGlothlin. Honorary Pallbearers were Johnny Blakemore, Mark Stewart and Justin Beavers.
