Albert Hayden Robbins, 75, of Bellevue, Wash., passed away June 4, 2013. He was born on April 18, 1938 in Piggott, Ark., and was the son of the late Ruth Naomi Robbins and John Widney Robbins. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Linnea Robbins, of Bellevue, Wash., son David Robbins of Bellevue, Wash., daughter Leslie Robbins of Anchorage, Alaska, one brother, two sisters, and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mars Nixon Robbins.

He was devoted to his faith, family and country. He enjoyed his Arkansas roots, returning in recent years for his college and Piggott High School Class of 1956 reunions. At Arkansas State University he was a charter member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and graduated in 1961. He served his country in the United States Army, 1st Infantry Division stationed at Fort Riley, Kan., reaching the rank of Captain.

After his military service, he met his future wife in San Francisco. They raised their two children in Anchorage, Alaska and Bellevue, Wash. In Bellevue, he was a member of Newport Covenant Church.

A military ceremony was commemorated at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. on June 24, 2013 with honors. A celebration of his life was held at the Robbins' home following.
