Seal Named to Manage HomeCare Medical
Monday, July 8, Billy Joe Seal of Piggott officially took the reins as the new manager of HomeCare Medical Equipment and Supplies, an affiliate of Piggott Community Hospital.
With more than 10 years experience with the business, Seal offers his experience in customer service as a benefit to area patients who rely on the products and services of the business. He is a lifetime resident of Piggott.
Seal is best known as the face that represents the store in delivering equipment to patient's homes. He provides not only the products -- such as wheelchairs, oxygen supplies and the like -- but has also been instrumental in showing patients how to best use their medical supplies. He has also assisted in marketing HomeCare services to medical centers and has represented stores in both Piggott and Corning.
"For those who are not familiar with HomeCare Medical, Seal explained. "We offer a complete line of hospital equipment and health care supplies for rental or sale. Our staff works closely with doctors or practitioners to assist in determining needs and selecting the right products for recovery and comfort."
He added the business also offers respiratory equipment, beds, wheelchairs, walking aides and bathroom items. "We are quite well known for carrying a complete line of specialized shoes," he added. "Many diabetic patients are fitted here for prescribed shoes. For the professional, we carry popular brands of scrubs, as well."
Outside work, Seal is also well known for his volunteer work in youth athletics. He has coached 10 years and also served as a referee. Local kids know him from coaching baseball, basketball and football as well as his support of the Mohawks. May local adults also know of his work as a member of the Piggott Parks and Recreation Commission.
Seal continues to reside in his hometown of Piggott with wife Priscilla and their children, Taylor, Brandon and Kloie.
