James Kimbel "Kim" Graves

James Kimbel "Kim" Graves, 58 of Rector, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at NHC in Kennett, Mo. He was born on November 9, 1954, in Memphis, Tenn. to the late James Wallace Graves and Colleen Ford Graves. Kim was an avid hunter, Cardinals fan, Razorbacks fan, and was a farmer and co-owner of Graves Enterprises. He was also a member of the Rector First United Methodist Church.

Kim was preceded in death by his parents; James Wallace Graves, and Colleen Graves; and his grandparents.

He is survived by three sisters, Pamela Graves Bronson and husband Stewart of Memphis, Tenn., Teresa Graves Frankel and husband John of Rector, Ginger Graves Sain and husband Gregg of Rector; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Pamela, Seanne, Maggie, Caroline, Chase, Nicholas; one great niece; four great nephews; grandmother, Pauline Shields; special caregivers, Paula Morgan and Donna Cavaness, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Rector with Bro. Mace Straubel officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Rector.
