Benson Retiring from BancorpSouth

BancorpSouth has announced the retirement of Ron Benson, Vice President. A reception in his honor will be open to the public on July 31, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Marmaduke branch, 11525 Hwy 49 North.

"Ron has provided many years of service and experience to the bank and its customers," Market President Joe Wessel said. "Ron joined the bank in 2003 as Vice President/Commercial Lender and has specialized in agricultural lending serving Greene, Clay and Mississippi County customers."

"I have enjoyed my many years with the bank and am now ready to move on to the next phase of my life and enjoy retirement," Benson said of his announcement.

Wessell announced Brock Wooldridge, Vice President/Lender, Paragould, will relocate to Marmaduke on Aug.1. Wooldridge has 12 years of banking experience and has been with the bank since 2004. Wooldridge holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Finance, has completed the Arkansas Bankers Association Basic Lending School and is a licensed insurance agent.

"My plans are to continue the same level of service that Ron has provided in Marmaduke and the surrounding area and I look forward to joining the Marmaduke branch team," Wooldridge said.
